Fantasy Routes Privacy and Cookie Policy

This policy explains how the Fantasy Routes website handles personal data and cookies. Last updated: July 1, 2026.

Controller and contact

The data controller is Francesca Ghilardi.

For privacy questions you can contact us at support@fantasyroutes.com.

Scope

This policy applies to the Fantasy Routes website at fantasyroutes.com and to the public website pages, including this privacy page. The My Pirate Map game has a separate privacy policy at /my-pirate-map/privacy/.

Cookies and tracking

The website is static. It does not set cookies, does not use analytics, does not use advertising technologies, does not use tracking pixels, and does not use browser storage or fingerprinting for tracking.

Because no cookies or similar tracking tools are used, the website does not show a cookie banner. If cookies, analytics, embedded media or other third-party tools are added in the future, this policy and the consent flow will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Technical data processed to serve the website

When you visit the website, Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare’s network may automatically process technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, requested host and URL, HTTP status code, browser or device information, referrer, traffic routing data, system configuration information and security logs.

This data is used only to deliver the website, keep it secure, diagnose technical issues and prevent abuse. It is not used for profiling, advertising or analytics by Fantasy Routes.

Cloudflare retains technical data according to its service configuration and data-retention criteria, including security needs and applicable legal or contractual obligations.

Support emails

If you contact us by email, we process the email address, name if provided, message content, attachments and any technical information you choose to include, such as device model, operating system or app version.

We use this information only to answer your request and manage any follow-up. We keep support emails only for as long as they are useful for handling the request or for reasonable administrative, security or legal needs.

Please do not send personal data about a child unless it is strictly necessary for a support request and is sent by a parent or guardian.

Legal bases

  • Website delivery, security and abuse prevention: legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Support requests: responding to your request, based on contract or pre-contractual necessity where relevant, or legitimate interest for ordinary support management.
  • Legal or regulatory obligations, if any: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Recipients and processors

Personal data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the website and email support. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare’s published privacy contacts include privacyquestions@cloudflare.com, sar@cloudflare.com and dpo@cloudflare.com.

Support email is handled through Spacemail, a business email service provided by Spaceship, Inc., 4600 East Washington Street, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA. These providers act as processors where required by GDPR.

We do not sell personal data and do not share website visitor data with advertising networks or analytics providers.

International transfers

Cloudflare and Spaceship may process data outside the European Economic Area to provide their services. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as contractual safeguards made available by the providers.

Your rights

Where GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability where applicable, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.

You can exercise your rights by contacting support@fantasyroutes.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/home/diritti/come-agire-per-tutelare-i-tuoi-dati-personali.

Changes

We may update this policy if the website, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
